Have you ever heard the story of Jonah and the whale? Of all the stories in the Bible this is one that is hard for people to believe. It’s like; Are you telling me that God used a whale to pick up Jonah and take him to the place that he was running from? It’s kind of crazy. So, I don’t want you to get hung up on the idea of a man surviving a crazy whale encounter. Instead, I am looking to show you something far more bizarre and challenging in this story. There is an undertone that will challenge your biases and your perceptions of people. There is a hidden gem in this story and this sunday we are going to dig it up and bring it out.
